Board of Deacons

The Board of Deacons provides ushers, assists the Pastor in planning regular and special worship services, and provides for the sacrament of Holy Communion. The Board also assists the Pastor in the oversight of the spiritual welfare of the Congregation. New Member classes are conducted by the Board in conjunction with the Pastor.

The Stewardship Committee includes two members of the Board of Deacons. The Board is charged with reviewing the Congregational Membership list regularly, determining any change in status between Active and Inactive

membership, and reports changes to the church Clerk. The Board of Deacons meets monthly on the third Sunday, and welcomes attendance by members of the Congregation. The Board of Deacons consists of between nine and twelve members; current membership is nine. The Board welcomes interested new members.
