Bible Study Resources

Acquiring study helps can take time.  Don't feel hurried.  As you read the Bible, you'll find it easier to grasp some of the more theological concepts with particular books aimed at helping you understand the text.  To that end, here is a list of a few of the books you may want to acquire.  A concordance lists all the words of the Bible sequentially and helps to understand comparative texts throughout the Bible. It is best for you to choose a concordance that matches your Bible translation.  A Bible dictionary explains the words, people, and unfamilar concepts in the Bible. A Bible commentary explains the Bible books, passages, and stories. Keep in mind that a commentary often reflects the beliefs of the writer so caution should employed.  Still, such an explanation can help us grasp information we do not fully understand.
