To submit a prayer request to show up on our online prayer tab, please send an email to Pastor Bo at bo@cresskillucc.org. He'll then put the prayer request on the website. You will find the prayer requests from Sunday worship and submitted prayers by navigating to our Prayers tab to the left of your screen. Simply fill in who you would like for us to pray for.
This Coming Sunday
You are invited to join us for worship on Sunday, March 14, 2010. The Scripture lessons will be 2 Corinthians 5:15, Hebrews 2:14-16, and John 14:1-3. The title of the sermon will be, "The Fear of Life's Final Moments."
Following our morning service, you are invited to get acquainted and catch up with old friends during our time of refreshments.

The church office hours
are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The parish secretary is in the office Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
The Board of Christian Education will be responsible for Coffee Hour for the month of March 2010.
The following meetings and activities are happening this week:

Wednesday, March 10 at 12:00 PM Sojourners Prayer Ministry
Wednesday, March 10 at 8:00 PM Choir Practice
Saturday, March 13 at 10:00 AM Artists Circle
The Sojourners Prayer Ministry will be meeting on Wednesday, March 10 at 12:00 Noon at Karen Minkler's house. Please bring your lunch. Beverage and dessert will be provided.
Our Lenten study of Max Lucado's best-selling book Fearless is under way. This study imagines a world without fear. To help you appreciate this journey in Lent, our Board of Outreach is offering you three different opportunities for spiritual study in the homes of Ginny, Elaine, and Mary. The days offered in Lent will be Mondays at 10:00 AM in Ginny's home, Thursdays at 7:30 PM in Mary's home, and Sundays at 3:00 PM in Elaine's home. Look for the new signup sheet in the Social Hall on Sundays and make your selections. There is a cost for the workbooks associated with the home study. The cost of the workbook is $6 (although you may have seen it priced either a dollar more or a dollar less).
The Deacons will be meeting on Saturday, March 6 at 9:00 AM for a morning of worship planning for Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. If you're a Deacon, you're invited to participate. Bring your ideas for liturgy, hymns, and worship. Coffee and bagels will be provided.
Are you in debt? Would you like to get out of it? Would you like help in managing your finances or preparing for retirement? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we offer a 13-week debt management course called Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. The cost is $100 per family and includes books, workbooks, CDs with lessons, and the opportunity to meet weekly to watch a DVD session and group learning. If you are interested in attending, please contact the church office or locate the signup sheet after church. Once we have at least 6 families, we will schedule the course (which has normally met on Thursday nights from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM).
