New Jersey Association Gathering
At our last NJ Association gathering, the churches present engaged in a conversation to determine what becoming an Open and Affirming Conference would mean and what it would not mean. Breaking into small groups and gathering for a larger conversation, representatives from area churches asked questions and discussed their answers, to be taken back to the local congregation. In our annual June meeting, the NJ Association will formally vote on whether to declare itself Open and Affirming.

100th Anniversary Gala Event
On October 13-14, we celebrated our 100th Anniversary with a dinner on Saturday night and a special worship service the next day. Our Central Atlantic Conference Minister, the Rev. Dr. John Deckenback preached for the service and New Jersey Association Conference Minister Rev. Sherry Taylor provided liturgy for the service. In attendance were former pastors Rev. Micki Nunn-Miller and Rev. Fred Rogers. Former members and children of former pastors were also in attendance. We also were blessed to have the Palisades Virtuosi perform with our choir.
